Town Wide Yard Sale

The annual town wide yard sale will be held this Saturday, May 27 from 9:00 to 2:00.  Maps will be available at Harvester Market on Thursday.  Lunch will be available at the library.

Historical Society program

George Morrison will be presenting "Robert Rogers of the Rangers - Tragic Hero" at the Stephenson Memorial Library on Wednesday,May 24 at 7:00 pm. This is a free program brought to you through the NH Humanities Council and The Greenfield Historical Society.

There will be a brief business meeting at 6:45.  Light refreshments available.

British Invasion dance

A fundraiser to benefit the Greenfield Historical Society.  Saturday, April 22 from 7:30 to 11:00 p.m. at the Meeting House.
Tickets at the door.  $12 per person, $20 for two.
DJ.  Refreshments.  60's attire encouraged.

Cellar holes

On Wednesday, April 19 Ken Paulson will present a talk about Greenfield's cellar holes entitled "Silent History:  the foundation of Greenfield".  A brief business meeting at 6:45 will be followed by the talk at the Historical Society barn.  Free admission.  Light refreshments.

Town election postponed

Greenfield is joining its neighboring towns in Postponing the town election
scheduled for Tuesday, March 14
due to the snowstorm
Polls will be open on Friday, March 17 from 10AM  until 7PM

The annual town meeting will convene as planned at 9AMSaturday, March 18,
also in the Meeting House.

  Anyone wishing an absentee ballot can obtain one Thursdayuntil 5 p.m. from the Town Clerk.

Scholarship Opportunity

The Hancock Woman’s Club is offering scholarships for adult women in mid-career; an adult woman
who plans to either begin, change or return to a career after years of family rearing or other
responsibilities and must be a current resident residing in the ConVal School District for at least 2 years.
Applicant must provide official confirmation of acceptance or enrollment in an educational program
such as, a college, university, technical or other training school or professional organization.
An essay of no more than 2 pages is required along with the application.  Please direct questions to

PO Box 366, Hancock, NH 03449.  Application must be received no later than March 31, 2017. Notification of Scholarship Committee’s choice will be in early May.  The scholarship award will be sent directly to the academic institution.
