Community Garden has space for new members

Like to grow your own fresh, organic vegetables, fruit and flowers?
Don’t have the space, enough sun, or maybe the know-how?
Why not join the Greenfield community gardeners?  We are a group of enthusiastic gardeners, some with years of experience, others new to growing vegetables, but all enjoying the opportunity to grow together in the sunny community garden by the Town Offices.
Not sure?    Come and meet the gardeners at an informal
POTLUCK SUPPER
in the Library’s Wensberg Room on Wednesday, April 13 at 5:30.   Jeremy Delisle from the NH Extension Service will join us for a conversation on weed control and composting.

Call Hilda Bridgewater at 547 7163 for more information.

Vendor Request for Greenfield's 225 Anniversary Celebration

We are rounding up folks for the Agriculture vendor area - selling anything agriculture such as greens that you will have available by the end of June, anyone plant strawberries?, eggs, honey, whatever you have that you would like to sell in the agriculture section of the 225 Anniversary Celebration. We are also looking for Agriculture exhibits and/or demonstrations. You may find the vendors application in the April/May Greenfield Spirit or you may download a copy from the Town of Greenfield website.

As I need to keep a head count, please let me know if you will be joining the Agriculture section of our celebration day. I may be reached at 547-2108 or at jrube.rainier@gmail.com.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
