Scholarship Opportunity

The Hancock Woman’s Club is offering scholarships for adult women in mid-career; an adult woman
who plans to either begin, change or return to a career after years of family rearing or other
responsibilities and must be a current resident residing in the ConVal School District for at least 2 years.
Applicant must provide official confirmation of acceptance or enrollment in an educational program
such as, a college, university, technical or other training school or professional organization.
An essay of no more than 2 pages is required along with the application.  Please direct questions to
Joyce Perry at 525-3304, or request an application by writing to the Hancock Woman’s Club,
PO Box 366, Hancock, NH 03449.  Application must be received no later than March 31, 2017. Notification of Scholarship Committee’s choice will be in early May.  The scholarship award will be sent directly to the academic institution.

Thursday Nights in Wilton

7pm at the Wilton American Legion in the upstairs hall.

$5 per class, Veterans are free, drop in anytime.  
(PS: I started taking Line Dance Lessons in Greenfield 4 years ago. Jim Morrell and Linda Gray were my Instructors.  I started teaching the Wilton group in April of 2016.  I still attend the Monday night classes in Greenfield.)

Bring a water bottle and wear comfortable shoes to dance in.

Both classes are family friendly.
If you have older kids who are interested, please bring them to a class and check it out.

Road closings

TOWN OF GREENFIELD
PUBLIC NOTICE

Effective, February 22, 2017 all Class V roads in the Town of Greenfield shall be closed to vehiclesweighing in excess of 6-ton.  Anyone needing a special exception to this posted weight limit should contact the DPW at 703-5546.  This posting shall remain in effect until April 30, 2017 or until conditions warrant.
