Let's
bring back a wonderful old tradition of ringing our bells on July 4th in recognition of the
signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776.
Bring any bell you have to our town common on Thursday at 2 pm to show our love for our country and true spirit of freedom. Next year we will be able to ring the actual bell in the meeting house tower, but for this year we will have to bring our own.
I hope as many of you as possible will be able to take a few minutes and come down. Rain or shine.
