Winter Carnival Schedule of Events

10:00 - 12:00   Historical Society is Open!   Stop by and check out our old stuff!
 
10:00 – 12:00   Clothes Closet is Open!

                        Located at the Ministry Center on Depot Drive, off Slip Road.
 
10:00 -   2:00   Library is Open!   Crafts, Stories, Warm Drinks from 11am-1pm
 
11:00 -   1:00   CONTEST,  Prizes!  “Do you want to make a Snowman?”
Held at the Meeting House.  Campfire, hotdogs & hot cocoa!

                                Weather and snow conditions permitting.
 
10:00 -   2:00  Sunset Lake Activities
                                (Sponsored by The Greenfield Trails Association)  
Bring your, snowshoes, cross country skis & sleds.  Skating????    Bonfire!     Dress warm. 
  
              2:15   Homemade Cardboard Sled Race 
(Sponsored by the G.E.S.  P.T.O.)  (Weather and snow conditions permitting)
                        The race is held at the Greenfield Inn Parking Lot.
Please park along the road side (if cleared) or at the Library.  Arrive between 2:00– 2:15.
 
              3:00  MOVIE  “Night at the Museum” held at the Ministry Center on Depot Drive.

              6:00   Chili Cook-Off  Begins!

Sled Race Instructions
  
•         Build your sled out of cardboard & duct tape.
•         Use clear packing tape on the bottom.
•         Decorate it!  Be creative!   Dress up & ride!
•         Separate race categories for kids through adults! 
•         Parking at: The Meeting House, The Library and maybe along the road-be safe!
•         NO PARKING at the Inn parking lot.
•         Please arrive between 2 – 2:10 before the race.
•         Register for your age division immediately upon arrival.
•         Race begins promptly at 2:15pm
 
Chili Entry Instructions
 
 
•         Register your chili entry   
by calling Agneta Brown at 547-2023.
 
•         Chili should be in a crock pot, hot & ready to serve. 
We cannot plug in your crock pot when you arrive.
 
•         Bring your chili to the Meeting House
and check in between 5:30 -5:45 pm.
 
•         Cook-off begins at 6pm.
