Please join us and discover what the Town of Greenfield and others have done to protect a very special place for the public’s enjoyment.
The Greenfield Conservation Commission and Mr. Ray Cilley are hosting tours of the Powder Mill Pond shoreline property recently conserved at the Robertson farm on Old Bennington Rd.
A FREE, GRILL YOUR OWN LUNCH and a brief history of the property and conservation easement will be offered between 12 Noon and 1 PM .
DIRECTIONS:  Take Old Bennington Rd  1.7 mi from downtown Bennington or 1.6 mi in the reverse direction from Forest Road to Robertson Lane (sign will be decorated with balloons).  From there a host will direct you to parking. The property also can be reached by canoe/kayak via Powder Mill Pond, or by walking along the railroad tracks from Old Bennington Rd to the picnic area near the Powder Mill pond railroad bridge.
