Celebrate the Earth by Keeping Greenfield Green!

This Saturday, April 26th, is the annual Roadside Roundup organized by the Greenfield Conservation Commission.  Look for your bluebags to arrive in the mail this week or pick up a supply of bags at the Recycling Center.

While the official roadside clean up is this Saturday, you can pick up trash anytime over the next several weeks and bring your blue bags to the special, blue-bag dumpster at the Recycling Center.  The dumpster is provided free of charge to the town so use those blue bags and that dumpster to clean up our roads without any additional charge to the town.

When you’re done for the day on Saturday, come down to the Meeting House for a free Ham and Bean supper hosted by the Woman’s Club.  Dinner begins at 5:30pm.  Dinner will be topped off with Hayward’s ice cream and the drawing of free raffle prizes.  We’re giving away some really great prizes donated by very general local merchants and your chances of winning something are much better than the multistate lottery!!  The Planning Board will also provide a short slideshow and brief presentation of the upcoming charrette.

Don’t miss the fun and reap the rewards of your hard work keeping Greenfield green!

Thanks and hope to see you on Saturday, April 26th
